The Modern Family Alliance (MFA) welcomes members and volunteers with varied experience, interests, ideas, and talents. Our members include LGBTQ+ parents, prospective parents, and supporters (LGBTQ+ and straight) of today’s modern families.
We work to do the following…
Build a community where LGBTQ+ families can connect with one another.
Provide information and resources to prospective and existing LGBTQ+ parents.
Advocate for LGBTQ+ families so that they may participate fully in the larger community without fear of oppression, intimidation, or exclusion.
Provide educational opportunities in the form of workshops, conferences and training sessions.
Organize social activities and events to help families meet and share positive, memorable experiences with one another.
