How to Save the Database in
Google Drive for Easy Access
To make sure you always have the latest version of the database without making an outdated copy, follow these steps to save it in your Google Drive:
On Desktop
- Open the database link.
- Click the Google Drive icon (if available) OR
- Click the star icon in the top right of Google Sheets to “Add to Starred” for quick access.
- If you want it in a specific folder, click File > Add shortcut to Drive
- Select the folder where you’d like to store it and click Add shortcut
On Mobile
(Google Drive App)
- Open the database link in your Google Sheets app.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select “Add shortcut to Drive.”
- Choose the folder where you want to keep it and tap Save.
Tip: This method keeps the database updated in real-time, so you always have the latest version without making a separate copy. Just go to Google Drive > Starred or the folder you saved it in to access it anytime!
